Shanice Ross

Shanice Marie Ross, a native of Washington State, has a passion to serve and a huge heart for others. Graduating from Miles College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, she began her career in finance at Regions Bank just after graduation. During her 6 year tenure with Regions, Shanice served in several positions including Assistant Branch Manager. It was during her early career at the bank that she learned that her passion was developing others into their best selves. Since leaving Regions, Shanice has held several other positions such as Executive Nurse Recruiting Director and Information Technology Senior Recruiter. She now serves in her most proud role in full-time ministry as Volunteerism Manager at her beloved church, Faith Chapel. Shanice can now combine her years of management and HR experience to best serve over 1,000 volunteers as they serve the kingdom. She is also actively involved at Faith Chapel where she serves on the Growth & Development team, the Worship & Arts Praise Team and works with Faith Chapel Students. Shanice also owns and is the Lead Creative Stylist at Sparkle’s Luxury Balloon Company, LLC. Through her business she brings joy to her clients while enhancing their celebrations and events. While her professional career is important to her, Shanice is most proud of her connections to the community. She is a proud, active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and also serves on the Wake Up Nation Advisory Board. Also, she holds almost two decades of experience in pageant and has held titles such as Miss Black Alabama USAM. She currently serves as a certified pageant coach, judge and coordinates several pageants in the Birmingham area. When she is not serving and helping others, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Je’Cory Ross, hanging with friends or submerging herself into one of her many creative hobbies.
